Oh my god!!! I think I’ll be able to make it! I’ll definitely do my best to be there on the 19th, with my copy of your book. :)

The weather has been very nice these days in Montreal, we got a lot of snow for this time of year with temperatures around zero, so it’s perfect for pretty walks. I hope it will still be this way when you’re here, but chances are you’ll get to experience our famous cold+humid combo. Bring your warmest coat and scarf, and you’ll be all set to enjoy it!

    This is GREAT!

  3. Aran, can’t believe I won’t see you again. I will be on a trip from the 15th til the 30th. I wonder if I can leave my copy of your book at the APPETITE FOR BOOKS for you to sign. I would have loved to meet you in person though. As for the snow, we have tons now falling from the sky. 15 cm of snow today. The city is all white. Make sure to have warm boots and coats. Essential in our cold season. January is especially cold. Could reach -30C. So take care.
Have a great Holiday season and enjoy your trip to Montreal.

Of course you are excited about the snow !!!! I went to Montreal some years ago in March, snow and low low temperatures made such wonderful memories… Merry Christmas to you and your family, what an amazing and unexpected year you had I’m sure!

Do you think you will be coming to the Utah area sometime?

Sounds like some fun dates. Thinking of adding any dates in Toronto? It’s just a shortish drive down the 401. Happy holidays, Aran!

What an exciting opportunity! I’ll be recruiting friends for dinner!

  8. Cindy says:

    Yes, please come to Toronto!

Any plans to do a food photography workshop in Toronto anytime soon?

  9. Dena says:

This all sounds wonderful and creative and like a fabulous time in 2 of my favorite cities. I hope both events are a huge success. I just spoke with my son who is at university in Montreal. They had their first snow last week and he said it is beautiful. Do you know the Atwater Market in Montreal? If you have the time during your visit, head there for an amazing culinary shopping experience. Happy Holidays and safe travels!

  10. valerie s. says:

Yay! I got a copy of your book for my birthday!

  11. Cecilia says:

Oh I can’t believe I’ll be missing it just for a few days!!!!! Moving to NYC at the end of January – I really hope you’ll repeat the event at the City Grit NYC again soon after! :)

    Have a wonderful time!

  12. Tim says:

The chocolate cake sounds really good. My mom use to make me chocolate cake for my birthday. It was chocolate cake with Oreos in it. It was out of this world good.
