Some of my favorite things

I am always inspired and intrigued by bloggers’ favorites lists. I always look forward to Heidi’s and Kimberly’s favorites.

I am not sure this will become a regular feature in the blog, but I thought I’d share some of the films, music, reads, food, and stories I have been enjoying lately.

I am inspired to share today.

… And these sugar plums? They must be some of my favorite this week. I will share soon what I baked with them.

Some of my Montreal workshop students wrote about the experience here, here, here, and here.

… Looking forward to returning here in a couple of weeks and cook a tart or two.

Listening to this album thanks to Nadia…

… Must make this summer soup soon.

Thanks for mentioning my post! I love these little lists, they show little specks of interesting things of people that don’t normally fit in a blog post.

Made your cafoutli (actually combined recipe with Helen’s) yesterday for my guests and it turned out lovely! Thanks.

Great list! That summer soup looks delicious, though I’m going to have to research some of those ingredients. And I want those ceramic casseroles. So simple and elemental. Just followed your boards on pinterest. Fun, Fun. Have a great evening!

  9. These lists are precisely what I love about Pinterest … how you start with one click on something you recognise, and eventually find yourself somewhere completely new, and different! :)

  10. Fun to see your list. I also loved Take this Waltz. Have you seen Margaret yet? Another great film. Didn’t know you had a Pinterest page. Am now following as I can never get enough of your photos! I learn a great deal from them. Wish I could join you in NY in October but alas it is parent’s weekend at McGill where our son will go to university soon. Lucky to go to Montreal, though. Some day I will get to one of your workshops!
